Miami Medical: A Petition for CBS

I’m not sure this does any good, but at least it might make us all feel a little better. Some fans have put together a online petition to save Miami Medical.

The petition is here at a site called Petitionspot: SaveMiamiMedical. Give it a quick sign if you have a moment.

A petition, eh? Well why not?

This Friday the pilot episode of the show will re-air, followed by five new episodes, the last that were filmed. I’m trying to find out if we’ll have more reruns after that before the whole show goes away, and I’ll pass on that information whenever I get it.

I have serious doubts that CBS will actually listen to a petition about the show, but I suppose it can’t hurt. I’m still scratching my head over their decision to air a show with Tom Selleck in place of Miami Medical.

I’ll repost the pilot episode information here soon, just in case anybody wants to check it out.

Cheers,
-SueVo

  1. I don’t know if it will do any good, but people power CAN sometimes make a difference. Might as well give it a try…

  2. Fans resurrected Cagney and Lacey, Star Trek…sometimes the nets listen. It’s well worth the try! At least the cast, crew and producers will find out that the rest of us DISAGREE with CBS’s prognosis!

  5. I support this petition. Miami Medical is a good show, and it hasn’t been given a fair chance. Bring it back to CBS.

  6. You’d think they would give Bruckheimer a bit more slack, especially in that time slot. Great show — writing, acting, everything. My wife and I love it. At some point, check to see that you’re not holding your breath or breathing quickly/deeply during one of the life-and-death scenes. It’s a great show. A new time slot and a bit of character development would make it huge. But not too much character development; just enough like C.S.I. Not to be rude, but only an idiot would cancel this show. And please sign the petition!

  7. Please do not cancel, there’s nothing on Friday’s
and this was something to look forward to at the end if the week. If CBS is stupid enough to cancel someone please pick it up…

  8. I love this show. I can’t believe it was cancelled. Every week I looked forward to Friday nights so I could watch it. Please, CBS, re-think your decision. Give it a chance and I am sure it will grow in popularity.

    • I agree with you completely, it’s a great show. I also like the whole Friday night line up. But, CBS is cancelling many of their best shows.

  11. Please keep on airing the show.
    Please do not cancel.

Golden Hour I believe is the best episode, telling the donors on why trauma center need to stay operating. The same for Miami Medical, why? because this show is lot better than Grey Anatomy.

  12. I’m in. At least get a deal with another network, before the cast gets new gigs.

  15. CBS should rethink its quick finger cancellation system and give this show a second chance….in a better time slot.

  16. Don’t cancel. Give it a chance. The stupid Donna Reed Show was never in the top ten, yet it was on for years.

TV is not always and only about being in the number 1 slot — it’s about viewer enjoyment.

CBS: Les Moonves: are you so narrowminded that you don’t see how good the show is?
